Skincare Favourites 2022

This has been a year of skincare product exploration for me. I am in my 'get my skincare together' era, so I've been sampling lots of skincare products to see what works well for my skin and skincare routine. Vitamin C serums have been my star product for this year, with it's wrinkle and fine line reducing properties, this, in combination with SPF has really made my skin noticeably smoother. Anyways, here are my personal skincare favs for 2022!
1. Skinceuticals CE Ferulic Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum

This is an antioxidant serum, and my goodness! If you don't already include vitamin C in your skincare routine, please do so! This serum contains 15% vitamin C, 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vitamin E, it aims to protect your skin against free radical damage, brightens your skin's complexion and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. After a few weeks of using this product I noticed my skin looked smoother and more radiant. My only con for this product is the price. it's very expensive, but if you are able to purchase it, it's an amazing product.
2. CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion (pm)

This lightweight, non-comedogenic lotion was a staple for me especially during the stickier, summer weather. It contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and essential ceremides. I love this product for it's super lightweight gel-like consistency which feels so light and refreshing on my face, but at the same time leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and moisturised.
3. Lipikar Moisturising Balm AP+M

We saw some weather extremes this year! We had some blazing hot summer days, and some very dry, icy, wintery ones too. The Lipikar Moisturising Balm was great for the colder, dryer days. It's a very thick moisturiser that works on very dry skin without feeling too greasy.
4. Bondi Sands SPF 50+ Lip Balm - Sweet Vanilla

I was on the lookout for an SPF lip balm to protect my lips against UV damage. The Bondi Sands lip balm is incredibly thick and moisturising, it left my lips feeling soft and moisturised for hours, and it has the most delicious flavour!
5. CND Solar Oil Nail and Cuticle Care Pen

A relatively new product in my skincare staples, listen! If you struggle with weak and peeling nails, give this product a try. With consistent use my nails feel much stronger, and there is less peeling and damage. My nails look so much more healthy!
These were my skincare favourites for 2022! But I'd love to hear yours! Leave a comment to let me know what was great for your skin this year.
